Marlena Lee Greene was born July 12, 1944 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Marvin and Lorene (Teter) Wolfe. She moved to Muskogee with her family at the age of fourteen years and graduated from Muskogee High School in 1962.

Marlena married Harold Byron Greene Jr. on April 21, 1966. She was employed as a seamstress at her family's business, Wolfe Cleaners, for many years. Her family recalls what an excellent seamstress she was.

Marlena departed this life early Monday, January 25, 2021 at Saint Francis Hospital in Muskogee at the age of 76 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Lorene Wolfe and her husband, Harold Greene in June, 2009.

She is survived by three sons, Greg Humphrey, Jacob Greene and Tony Greene, all of Muskogee, OK; one daughter, Sheri Lynn Greene of Muskogee, OK; a sister, Saundra Hill of Muskogee, OK; brother, Jim Wolfe and his wife, Judy of Checotah, OK; her grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be from 10 am – 7 pm Thursday at Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner.

The graveside funeral service will be at 10 am Friday, January 29 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, OK. The Reverend Dr. Greg Tolle will officiate.
