Michael Murray "Mike" Evans was born on October 15, 1956 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Wayne Murry Evans and Helen Marie Tyler. After his education was complete Mike proudly served his country through his enlistment in the United States Marine Corps.

Early in life Mike married his high school sweetheart, Robin Garrett. From this marriage the family was blessed with the birth of their daughter, Nicole, who is lovingly known as Nicci.

On May 6, 1986, Mike married the love of his life, Cindy Lou Zwinak. They were happily married for 38 years. Many wonderful, sustaining memories were made as they enjoyed many of the benefits of living near the lake, whether it was fishing off their dock on Fort Gibson Lake, watching fireworks on the fourth of July, or watching beautiful sunsets. Mike and Cindy also spent many hours travelling, often on Route 66, as Mike went in search of Snoopy collectables to add to his collection.

When fall came there was no question that Mike would be hunting with his friends. He so looked forward to this time of year. When he wasn't hunting, he was pursuing any sports connected to the University of Oklahoma, happily in front of the television, remote in his hand.

Michael departed this life on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at his home in Wagoner, Oklahoma, with his loving family at his side.  Preceding him in death were his parents, Wayne Evans and Helen Tyler.

Cherishing the many memories of Michael's life are his wife, Cindy Evans of the home; daughter, Nicci Konstantinou and her husband, Dimitrios of King George, Virginia; grandson, Robert Konstantinou; sisters, Waynette Brown and Elaine Magnuson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and their families, along with a host of friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
