Obituary

Nancy Charlene (Ralls) Hellinger was born on September 5, 1949, in Atoka, Oklahoma, to Charles Standley Ralls and Margaret Mildred (Goforth) Ralls. She graduated from Wagoner High School in 1967. Nancy and Mark Twain Hellinger married on June 9, 1968 and were happily married for 34 years until his passing in 2002. Their relationship was characterized by affection and companionship, resulting in many cherished memories throughout their life together.

Nancy was a loving and caring person, including her fur babies who she spoiled at every opportunity. She enjoyed pampering herself with hair and nail appointments and had a passion for shopping. She delighted in decorating for holidays and tending to her flowers. But above all, she cherished the time spent with her family.

Before retirement she was employed in the banking industry for many years.

Nancy departed this life on Monday, December 16, 2024, at the age of 75 years.  Preceding her in death were her parents, Charles and Margaret Ralls; her husband, Mark Twain Hellinger; her granddaughter, Bobbi Anne Compton; her brother, Billy Ralls; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jake and Louise Hellinger.

Cherishing many fond memories of Nancy's life are her daughters, Kathy Allen, and husband Paul of Wagoner, OK, and Kimberly Dorr and husband, Dennis Dorr Jr. of Wagoner, OK; grandchildren, Samantha Rainey and husband, Gary of Tulsa, OK, Poss Compton of Wagoner, OK, Kelli Rinehart, and husband, Josh of Fort Gibson, OK, Bailey Dorr, USMC of Wagoner, OK, Maci Dorr of Wagoner, OK, Kaleb Dorr, of Wagoner, OK, Justin Allen of Wagoner, OK, and Kayla Moody and husband, Billy of Wagoner, OK; great-granddaughter, Hannah Rainey of Tulsa, OK; sister, Rebecca Patterson and husband, Bill of Wagoner, OK; niece, Crystal Turner and husband, Trent of Cleveland, OK; nephew, Will Patterson of Wagoner, OK; great nieces, Rori, Ellie, and Hadley Turner; brother-in-law, Jerry Hellinger and wife, Berniece of Wagoner, OK; and her fur babies, Gabby, Suzy, and Ruby.

Everyone who was privileged to know Nancy will miss her greatly, as she touched our lives with her kindness, laughter, and unwavering support, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever resonate in our hearts.

Viewing will be held from 3-5 pm on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, and on Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 9 am - 5 pm at Mallett Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends at a Visitation on Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 5-7 pm in the Chapel of Mallett Funeral Home.

A Graveside Service will be held in Pioneer Cemetery in Wagoner, Oklahoma on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 1:00 pm to honor Nancy Hellinger's life. Life Celebrant Mary Jane Whisnant will officiate.
