William Alvin Owens was born on July 17, 1940, to William Albert Owens and Alice (Jarvis) Owens, in Wagoner, Oklahoma. Alvin attained his formal education from Wagoner Public Schools. He met the love of his life, Betty Sue Crabtree, and married her on March 16, 1963. After six decades of companionship, their love story became a testament to enduring commitment, filled with shared memories, laughter, and unwavering support through life's challenges until Betty's passing in 2023.
Alvin dedicated many years of his life to serving customers as a Propane Truck driver for Mayes County Propane, where he built lasting relationships with those he delivered to. His friendly demeanor and commitment to his job made him a loyal employee, and he cherished the conversations and connections he fostered with his customers until his retirement.
